Secondary Education - Fast Track - Traditional

The Fast Track M.Ed. in Secondary Education is a professional preparation program that enables individuals holding bachelor's degrees to meet teacher certification requirements and earn an M.Ed. in Secondary Education in as little as twelve months. This traditional pathway includes online classes, face-to-face seminars, and being placed in a classroom with a mentor teacher for two semesters, culminating in a twelve-week student teaching internship with a certified master teacher.

The program relates educational theory and methodology to pre-service practice. No thesis is required in this program; instead, a year-long action research project puts research into action in the classroom.

The M.Ed. program's Fast Track has a face-to-face internship requirement during Fall and Spring semesters.
