Cybersecurity Certificate

The undergraduate certificate in Cybersecurity offers a highly technical, interdisciplinary program that enhances career marketability for students or technical professionals in related fields. The curriculum includes both offensive and defensive cyber security content delivered within our state-of-the-art Cyber Virtual Learning Environment to ensure our students have hands-on experiences to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for career advancement.

Cybersecurity Certificate is offered in the following locations: Sierra Vista, Pima County, Douglas, Santa Cruz County, Chandler, Yuma County, Online

Students pursuing degrees in related disciplines can enhance their academic program and increase their career marketability by earning the undergraduate certificate in Cybersecurity. To add this certificate to your UA program of study, contact your academic advisor to add the certificate to your record.

If you are not a UA student and wish to pursue only this certificate at the UA, you will submit an application for admission as a certificate seeking undergraduate student: https://slate.admissions.arizona.edu/apply/. Select Other Campus Location when prompted.

The undergraduate certificate in Cybersecurity requires a minimum of 18 units.The requirements for the certificate are designed to allow students in affiliated majors the opportunity to ‘double dip’ up to 9 units toward their major that also fulfill elective certificate requirements.
