  2. A minimum 2.50 grade point average on the most recent 60 attempted semester hours of college/university credit.
  3. Submission of online BAS program application

You may find this worksheet helpful in drafting your goal statement or you can meet with your advisor for additional help.
  6. Apply for admission to the University of Arizona. This is a separate process from the application to the BAS program and will only be done once the applicant has received program permission from the program director. Your UA South academic advisor will be happy to assist you in this process.
Which semester are you applying to begin coursework at UA South? For example, Spring 2016, Fall 2016, etc.
Have you completed or are you planning to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree?

I understand that the BAS ECE program does not lead to teacher certification in Arizona. Students who wish to become certified teachers are strongly encouraged to complete coursework for an Elementary Education Degree with an endorsement in Early Childhood.

Early Childhood Education and Human Services practicum and field studies placements require fingerprint clearance cards issued in the state in which you are completing the requirement. If you are pursuing one of these two programs, please indicate your fingerprint clearance card state and expiration date, or indicate that you are aware of the requirement and will obtain one prior to starting the program.

Students who previously attended The University of Arizona and left the university in poor standing (cumulative GPA less than 2.0) must complete the following statement to indicate their ability to succeed at the UA. Typically, the UA will look for 24 transferrable units at a regionally accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA for readmission.

Include an explanation of your previous academic obstacles, whether you have resolved these obstacles, and what you will do differently to overcome these if they still exist or if you encounter other obstacles that threaten to impede your academic progress.
You must agree in order to submit your application.

I have a minimum 2.50 grade point average on the most recently completed 60 semester hours of college/university credit. I understand that if I change into a degree program other than the Bachelor of Applied Science, my transfer courses may not fulfill my graduation requirements in the new degree program. By submitting my application to the program, I certify that the information I have provided is truthful and accurate.
