History

1885: Territorial legislature approves $25,000 to build The University of Arizona.

1912: Arizona becomes a state.

1964: The University of Arizona begins offering courses in Cochise County.

1993: A permanent home for the campus is built in Sierra Vista adjacent to Cochise College.

1995: UA South is named an official branch campus of the university.

2003: UA South is established in Santa Cruz, Pima, Yuma and Pinal Counties
