Loan Counseling Sessions
All first time borrowers at the University of Arizona are required to attend a counseling session prior to receiving loan funds. The Bursar cannot release any loan money to you until you have met this requirement.
We encourage you to fulfill this requirement as soon as possible to prevent any delays in receiving your funds.
You will be prompted to select the state (Arizona), the school (University of Arizona), and then Entrance Exam. Next you will enter your name and social security number. This website is secure. Be sure to select the Entrance counseling
After completing the entrance exam, EdFund will send us confirmation of your entrance exam completion. You do not need to bring the completion form to our office.
Your loan funds will not post to your student (Bursar) account until you have completed this loan counseling requirement.
Students can view the 30-minute video at UA South or go online to complete entrance or exit counseling.
